How can the NCAA fix this?
I don’t think the sports draw the same amount of revenue but the NCAA has no business not making the accommodations the same.

The NCAA just sickens me in their action or more importantly, their lack of action. The women athletes, the schools they represent and possibly even governmental officials need to force proactive changes. It's sick.

so why is this a big deal.. are they the same across all sports they run , not even close? Fb and BB get the most and make the most.. this is like asking why do HS sports get less shiny digs than College and college less than the Pros..

I feel bad for them but its just the reality of life. Men's bball and football makes a ton of money. Women's bball doesn't. I wish I could drive the Bentley I saw in the parking lot the other day but I have to settle for a Toyota.

This is exactly the issue. Plenty of Mens non revenue sports that get next to nothing if they even have a program at all because of ill-conceived broadness of Title IX. This is not a gender equality issue IMO.

As long as womens scholarships and education is in line with what male athletes receive I see no real issues. Revenue programs foot the bill for non revenue programs.

I'm confused about the spirit of Title IX. I thought it applied to schools because they receive federal funding. Does the NCAA actually receive federal funding?
