On any football team ever that I have watched or been involved with, the nastiest player should be the mike linebacker.  He shouldn’t have to be a 4.6 guy even though like bullock that was a bonus.  I think Dan was a 4.7 guy but his instincts were unreal.   Their main job is a or b gap and it should be a personal issue if it keeps happening over and over again.  Keep your speed guys at other 2 lb spots.  They can make more angle tackles and what not.  The mike, he is making straight up tackles unless on jet or sweeps.  Also if your mike is making tackles on sweeps and jet u should shoot your outside backer lol.  Blows my mind why we don’t already know this.  I only coached modified java and 5 yrs of varsity and I know this.
