The win differential between Syracuse and BC was 19. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that was the worst lost based on win differential in NCAA history. It would be an interesting stat to see.
I could be wrong, somewhere along the line there could be a 28 win team that lost to a 8 win team. Off the top of my head I can't think of any.
