Would they play hard if HCSS announcement was made this week?

Given all of the drama, I'm guessing many of the players have mailed it in for the season. If an announcement was made this week saying HCSS isn't returning, do you think the players would rally and "win one for the gipper"?

Honestly, I care less about the team playing hard and more about all of the players that had a year of eligibility burned getting a lot of playing time.

1. Did you watch them play last week? I would have a hard time pointing to any player and saying, "yeah, xxx mailed it in." If there's one thing you can say about this team, it's that they played hard to the buzzer every game. I doubt that changes on Saturday.
2. If SU cuts the cord, I would expect the intensity level to climb, not fall. Gipper-esque. Will they win if that happens? I don't know. What I do know is that they will play hard till the clock reaches 0:00.

They will play hard. They would have regardless of HCSS's status. However, I now expect them to play hard and win, which is a different outcome than I expected at 8 am this morning.

Anybody that hasn't played much on scholarship - Perkins, Womack, Enoicy, Custis, Conway, etc. I feel like we have more of them on offense than defense, but get those guys some reps. Let's not waste the chance to get them some game experience.

I don't care about the circumstances so far. If they're on scholarship, aren't redshirting, and have barely played let's get those guys on the field.
