I hate these threads so I'm surprised that I am starting one. No doubt this season was no fun for him but I think next season will be a big rebound. A good way to go out.

depends on his white whale. i think he realizes he won't ever catch K. especially after dropping 2 to him this year. but if he only wants 1K wins well that's just a two year situation.

He stays until he gets to 1,000 at a min. That's not happening next year, so it's going to be 2 more years at least IMO.

I don't think the win total fazes him; he wants to coach with the Olympic team and will hang on at least until then.

if you image google "seadon" this comes up

I wouldn't want another year in that shirt either

I'd be shocked (), shocked Cotton, if
JB is done next year.

Wouldn't get his 1000 wins, and it also means he's wasting his time recruiting Tyus Battle,
whose interest in SU appears to be highly influenced by JB being the coach.

"And a 5th medal coaching the curling team in 2022."

"ok i want two stones out top on the hog-line and 3 along the endline"
Two on the hog line is fine. You need those guards in order to draw into the 4 footer, preferably at the top of the 4 footer. 3 along the endline is a waste. Gives the other team something to freeze to.

JB is probably thinking at least 2 more years, barring external variables such as
  • health issues that make him leave sooner than he'd choose (like they did Jim Calhoun)
  • the NCAA vacating a significant number of wins putting 1000 out of reach within 2 years
  • other NCAA punishments so severe that it's in the best interest of the school to gently encourage him to go

Dude, do you even speak English?

:rolling:

I think hes done if we hang a banner next year and id take that trade
And doing that would probably involve getting the 33 or 34 wins he'll need to get to 1,000.

good post.

I don't believe JB has a "white whale" and I wouldn't be surprised by any decision he makes unless it's made during a season. He's always said he'd decide whether to retire between seasons. He's certainly here through the 2016 Olympics, which he has agreed to be a part of. He has to keep his job at SU to be eligible for that. After that, even he doesn't know.
