If we heard before the season all we needed to do was win 1 of the following games to make a bowl we would’ve laughed...Maryland, BC, NC State, Pitt or Louisville.

If you heard before the season that Maryland would win 3 games, you’d think sounds about right. But that one would be over Syracuse 9 to 3 (in touchdowns), you wouldn’t have laughed. You’d have been deeply concerned for the mental health of the person that said it.

Basically everything went wrong this year and we still missed a bowl by one touchdown. It has to get better next year with what looks like just as weak of a schedule. He says with fingers crossed

we need to set the bar higher than minimal bowl standards. 6-6 is not where we want to be and IMHO should not be with our schedule.

nc state and pitt were terrible teams, terrible losses. good news is we got better as the season went on.
