The Courant is by far the leading newspaper in Connecticut. It sees this "11th hour law" as epitomizing the corruption that has plagued CT government for years.

It's a strange circumstance. While it doesn't look good passing this law so late, and probably ramming it through (I did not read the original article), there are plenty of sons coaching with their dad's. It's not like Edsall made him AD or something crazy like that.

Doesn't really bother me...if he wants to hire family he ought to. It eventually falls on Edsall to win or he'll be fired along with most of the staff and Randy leaves with a bunch of taxpayer money in the settlement...unless of course UConn found out he bought a pack of gum for a recruit.
