Has anyone even considered that Bernie may be innocent? This is a pretty seedy cast of characters but, after all, innocent until proven guilty is the law. It could be that Bernie is just gay and he likes young (as in over 18) guys. It also seems obvious that his wife knew about the relationship and didn't care. Some of the comments Davis makes about the way the two of them had sex makes no sense. He sounds like a spurned lover.
If I knew someone 40 years and someone, who had accused him in the past and been dismissed, accuses him of heinous acts. I'm going to support my friend.
Also, just because Davis appears to be right doesn't make him or his friends any less creepy. It just makes Bernie and his wife more so.
