It's harder to deal with that adversity if you develop resentment at the place your playing. Based on the agent comments, it seems like Syracuse on an fairly even playing field with the other offers would still be the spot that he will sign. For Syracuse, I'm assuming the limit they would go for regarding Calvin is as high as they can without sacrificing quality in key portal additions at starting spots that they were planning to fill.
