I honestly believe the Portal will end up helping us, simply because there will be players available that can play at a high P5 level but get buried on the depth chart for whatever reason and they see the benefit for playing for a coach like babers and program like SU. I mean someone has to see the benefit of Integrity and goodness. My gosh the bright lights of the Elite money schools can be blinding. Good culture and education is tangible. We know that. We must be innovative in NIL initiatives and continue to build culture. Hopefully less people who can truly play will leave because of this and high level players will want to come here via portal or HS route when they realize what we have to offer. I encourage people to watch Nick Monroe being interviewed at the Pinstripe bowl, says alot about the culture of the program and that is why I support them. And by the way Syracuse is potentially going to have a higher percentage of players who are going to have difficulty competing secondary to current status, that is what we are working on changing. We also have to remember that in an appropriate, fair and good way when we discuss future playing time with our student athletes. We are the ones who recruited them in the first place. I fully support coach, Go Syracuse.
