Not sure about this kid but some times official offers are used to keep relationships flowing. Stay in good grace with them so if we lose a Burnett or someone, that prospect won't feel so slighted when he is contacted by a staff member in December. Even if he's committed to another team, we will have a chance. That's why a lot of MAC commits get stolen late in the process lol
