I could go through a list of 15-20 scholarship players that did exactly nothing this year and most would have forgotten they were even on the team. This is a Syracuse native with a huge music career/following that obviously opens doors revenue-wise for us. It's not like we are coming in promising him a starting spot. He likely will never touch the field, but could be a really cool story and a way to generate publicity for the Syracuse brand.
