And just a fyi.. there is no way that he actually spoke with Shafer as he is a Junior and phone calls aren't allowed until March or April. Probably got an e-mail or text.

When kids these days use the word "speak" they really mean text. If they actually had a face to face conversation they use the word "talk" or "talked"

So my students tell me anyways.
