until we get some, every possession will be a hard fought battle.. West won the battle off the line all night and it netted him some tough catches but little else. if he had just above avg speed he probably has 4 tds. the same for the RB. they run hard but miss so many holes and cant turn good holes into better gains. there were several runs the NCst RB turned into positive plays just because they have better speed.

even the NCst DE out ran our qb for a TD.

Agree 100% with this. We're not fast enough. Across the board.

Wasting punt returns too. I'm sure Desir has great hands, but all those NC State outkick their coverage punts made me remember just how slow he is. That seems like the ideal role for Erv. Shifty, quicker guys are better suited for punt returns than kickoff returns.
