I don't know if the WRs who play will make much of a difference if the game plan is continually WR screens, slant routes to the slot guy, other assorted short passes, an Oline that doesn't seem to block well yet, a running game that can't get going, a QB who gets too many passes tipped or picked off, and a pistol offense that just doesn't seem to fit. A little variety wouldn't hurt.
All that aside, with the WR/DB/RB play, it seems to me that the younger guys are more talented than the older guys, yet the staff is more willing to go with the older guys. Yes, I know this is a WR post, but if I never see a secondary with Wilkes-Lyn-Anderson again (seniors all), I won't be disappointed. For the WRs, Kobena (junior) can do one thing: go deep; Flemming is a senior with two career catches; West (senior) is a decent slot guy, but he's no number one receiver. You want talent and explosiveness, and it seems like the SU offense is running is slow motion.
