Orange Spring Season Underway
The Orange will face a competitive spring slate that features the WPS Western New York Flash.
Syracuse started its spring season last weekend when it faced Colgate and Binghamton at Manley Field House. The Orange have four more dates this spring, including a March 28 matchup against the Western New York Flash of the WPS.
The Orange, which returns 20 student-athletes from the 2014 season, will face the Flash for the second straight year when it travels to Buffalo on March 28. The Flash features U.S. national team members Abby Wambach and Whitney Engen, who will play in the World Cup in Canada this summer.
Syracuse returns to Buffalo on April 12 to face Grand Valley State at 2 p.m. and the Bulls at 3 p.m. SU takes on Central New York foe Colgate in Hamilton on April 18 before traveling to Binghamton to face the Bearcats at 7 p.m. on April 24. Buffalo and Colgate were ranked in the top 40 in the final 2014 RPI, while Grand Valley State is the defending Division II national champion.
