Gordon crossed the ball to Lamontagne on the left side of the box, but Mason's stop on Lamontagne's shot preserved the Raiders' one-goal lead. The Orange was the more dangerous team to start the second half as it recorded the first 10 shots and earned four corner kicks but couldn't take advantage of its opportunities. The Raiders had a chance to add to their lead in the 87th minute. SU had the final possession of the match, but couldn't get off a shot. We came out and had opportunities. We outshot them, doubling their number of shots. We had more corners. Their goalkeeper was much busier in the second half. Again we didn't finish our opportunities. This is a heartbreaking loss because I thought we did really well in the second half. If we had executed our game plan from the start we would have been alright."
