WVU freshman guard could have opened can of worms for UK tomorrow

Shane Battier picked WVU yesterday on College Sports Sirius radio show.

Well, he can't exactly say he is having an anxiety attack when he watches film, and that he has night terrors of Wildcats. Nothing disrespectful was said. He was asked a question and answered it with confidence.

Maybe it was orchestrated to get UK to work on breaking the press, and WVU will really use a 2-3 zone instead.

The one Harrison said: "What's he gonna say - we're gonna lose (to UK)?" (Bearded Harrison)

The other Harrison said it would make them (UK) play better. (Non-bearded Harrison)

Jay Williams said it's very important in the world today because the world today is very PC.

Jay Williams is a very stupid man.

Kentucky reminds me of a more athletic and talented version of our 2013 team (the one that played in the Big East and NCAAs, at least...not the one that lost 8 times and scored 39 points against Georgetown).

They're a very cohesive defensive group.

I think they'll lose when they play a decent team that has a good night. Hasn't happened yet (though the TAMU game was a joke). West Virginia is capable.

The only person in this mix with anxiety attacks is Huggins, who still can't wipe away the memory of Millhouse standing over him with a giant handle of tequila.

What is the dude supposed to say? Honestly. So sick of people dissecting quotes after reporters bait players into these type of questions.

That it's going to be a battle.

Agree with you 100%. I hate reporters during the NCAA tournament. They goad these players into making stupid quotes before the game then after an elimination they deliberately ask questions to try to get them emotional on national TV. They're vultures...

The kid is 19 years old and didn't think before answering a question to the media -- give him a break.

lol Huggings should tell them they play that style because they have no talent.
