I was actually very happy for Lemoyne when they beat us.They still are a local school and it was nice to see them so excited to take down big brother.

You live by media attention you also will die by media attention.

And in this day and age the old saying still applies,"Any advertising is good advertising".

During our exhibition Tuesday, while the game was still on they were showing highlights on ESPN2 during halftime of the Toledo football game. I was amazed ... how many basketball teams have exhibition highlights shown nationally? We've had two exhibition games so far and both of them were shown nationally on ESPN. And both of them were on their top 10 plays of the day. I think someone told me Dion's dunk made #1.

My point is we are media darlings (especially to ESPN). As soon as CSLA got within double digits we were on "upset alert" and ESPN loves that. People across america love SU. They either love us or love to hate us ... and I think that's awesome. It puts us in the North Carolina/Duke category as far as ESPN is considered.

Everyone wants to thank TGD for getting us into the ACC. I'd rather thank Jim Boeheim, because he was the one who ultimately put SU in the spotlight all these years.
