HHH and Shawn got on the booking committee. They wanted Bret to ruin in the Rock in 1996 but Bret refused.

Bret wanted Austin to back him but Austin didn’t want to piss off Shawn so Bret and Shawn drama dominatesd until Bret signed with WCW because Vince backed out of Bret’s contract.
Bret wanted undertaker to take the belt from him and Vince came up with the Montreal screwjob. Shawn and HHH knew what was happening.

Bret doesn’t like HHH because he sees him as a snake who rose up.
