They were always going to be leery to develop most of the super-indy stars coming from NXT and were going to bury most of the guys that only came up because of fan pressure (and then end up pissing off fans with how they treat them) It's stupidity on their part, but once you accept that is the way they are going to act, then the move to NXT 2.0 makes some sense. This might be a better way for them to develop stars since if they are coming up in a Vince/Crony approved system with Vince approved "look" it is more likely they can become successful at the next level.
