Syracuse's [URL='http://cuse.com/roster.aspx?rp_id=11224'][U]Martin Hehir[/U][/URL] and head coach [URL='http://cuse.com/coaches.aspx?rc=970'][U]Chris Fox[/U][/URL] swept the major ACC men's cross country awards, with Hehir earning ACC Men's Performer of the Year and Fox being named ACC Coach of the Year.

Hehir earned the individual ACC Championship en route to pacing the team to a dominant win for its second-straight ACC Championship and fifth conference title in the last six seasons. Hehir went on to finish 6th at the NCAA Northeast Regional and 38th at the NCAA Championship.

Hehir previously earned USTFCCCA All-America and All-Region honors this season.

With the help of Hehir's performances, Fox led the Syracuse men's program to a point it hadn't reached in nearly 60 years. The Orange finished fifth at the NCAA Championships, marking its first top-five finish since 1957.

The team also peaked at No. 2 in the USTFCCCA Poll, which was the highest the Orange has ever been ranked in the history of the poll.

It's the second year in a row Fox has earned the award. He also earned USTFCCCA Northeast Region Coach of the Year this season.
