Yahoo: USA Basketball only benefits Duke and Syracuse

I didn't bother to read the article, but why is it even an issue? USA basketball doesn't exist to benefit any specific schools. It exists to win gold medals. If college coaches achieve that goal, there may be some benefit to those coaches, and so be it. Neither those coaches nor USA basketball should feel bad about it or change it.

Does SU Benefit? Yes.
Is this why JB does it? No.

I would say its Yes and No as to why does it. Does it matter? Not IMO.
