He gets to throw out the first pitch and hear the cheers one last time. Of course he comes to OldTimers game probably unless he chooses to pull a Yogi and not appear for some time. Jorge made a mistake hanging on when he had little left in his tank. Sure he mustered up some big hits at the end but for most of the season he showed his age.:bat:

would you like me to say anything to him for you cali??

personally im glad he stayed last year, i think most of his problems were caused by girardi.

i hope Pettitte makes the trip up for this, that would be really cool.

gonna be a beautiful day.

Yeah its Joe's fault that Jorge got to the age that caused him to be an auto out and worthless behind the plate. I hope Posada gets a big ovation and appreciates it. Then he can go off and continue to blame joe Giardi for him getting too old tp play the game anymore.:bang:

Yeah, I obviously don't know what went on in their interpersonal interactions, but I didn't see anything wrong or unfair about the way Girardi handled Posada.

Jo
would love to be there. Go Yanks!
rge pitched to his father for the first pitch honor and received a big ovation and some respect from the A's announcers. Nik's bases clearing double and Arod's rare these days homer.;)
