Yanks want to dump Ichiro but its not easy getting rid of the near 40 year old

Ichiro was showing a rapid decline in his ability at the plate and field. The Yanks may need to throw in a youngster to make a deal. How they deal with Wells is another problem. They won't just cut him.An out field with a rookie and Bret and Jacoby would work for everyone including the fans who want to see youth on the team out there.The spring games should provide an opportunity for that to happen. How hard is it going to be to find a replacement for Hughes? I get sick of baseball by the time football preseason magazines come out but I miss it by the holidays.
