That should be seven or eight wins.

Special teams and bad coaching decisions cost them

I do not think any other scheme would've resulted in better than 76 in yards per play on offense, I'm sorry.

Where are we in comparison vs ACC teams, ideally taking out non P5 games? Some team in the Sunbelt being 26th doesn't mean they are better. And some team in the B12 being 53rd doesn't mean they are worse.

14. Duke
13. GA Tech
12. Wake
11. VA Tech

Crazy that Wake has the record that they do. Being 10th in conference is closer to a 6-6 team.

Season - 5.1 ypp (91st in FBS)
Last 3 games - 3.7 ypp (125th in FBS)

Passing ypp - 5.66 (104th in FBS)
Rushing ypp - 4.76 (82nd in FBS)

Just not pretty anywhere when you look at the whole of the season. Prior to last 3 we looked competent at times and then just fell off a cliff.

I looked at overall and vs p5, copied pasted from cfbstats to Excel, did formulas there

Vs fbs, we were 68th combined

That still means our record underperformed. We were 4-7 instead of 5.25-5.75 against fbs

the four teams right behind us are all going bowling, Wake is in the ACCCG. as you said, terrible special teams, poor coaching decisions, and oh yeah, don't lose to freaking Rutgers
