We lived in the outer Comstock area and would go sledding on the hill at the cemetery on Jamesville. Normally we used those red plastic toboggans to go down the hill but, when we discovered that the cemetery road had iced over, we all brought our sleds with the metal rudders and did bobsled races down the road (which was both downward sloping and curved).
