Yesterday's Trifecta

Without a doubt our victory over Indiana was the highlight of the day (the week for that matter) but which secondary development from yesterday gives you more joy?

a) The tantalizing opportunity for revenge with rolling through Marquette on our way to the Final Four?
b) Watching Gottlieb stuff his huge, white foot into his idiotic mouth?

I’m ecstatic about the MU match-up but seeing Gottlieb squirm under the real possibility of being dismissed from his post for making such a thoughtless, jackass comment gives me a wonderful, warm and fuzzy feeling inside.

I don’t ordinarily take pleasure in another’s pain but I really can’t stand him.

I haven't heard or read anything about gottleib possibly being fired. Personally, to fire someone over a comment like that is inane. It was a joke. Nothing more. Whether it was Finn or not depends on how sensitive you are to racial humor. Firing? That's just dumb.
