Pretty sure his point went right over your head. What he is saying is that in the NFL, you can rebuild a team in 1 year. Draft well, buy some free agents, make some trades. This isn't true in college. Most programs that have been rebuilt from the depths we were at take at least 4 years of slow steady improvement.
