We don't get the CW, so we went to a random Buffalo Wild Wings where we live (about an hour and a half from Blacksburg). We had the youngins with us, and they were ready to go by halftime. I was, too. 14-3, and there were no real signs of improvement. I figured I could catch an illegal stream online or listen to Matt Park's dulcet tones the rest of the way.

On our way home from BDubs we listened to the game. SU scores! They score again! A FUMBLE! They score again. We're in business! I didn't see any of the TDs, but hey, SU just took the lead. Get inside quickly and find a stream. Virginia Tech goes through the SU defense like it's Swiss cheese. TD, and they take the lead. 28-24.

SU gets the ball back. Stonewalled. McCord sacked. I tell my wife I'm bad luck and I'm going outside to do some work. She comes running out about a half-hour later to tell me it's going to overtime.

I had a tough decision to make. Run in and root on the team I have rooted for and bled orange for the last 42 years. Or listen to the Mojo Gods and stay away. I sacrificed myself for you. I'm not saying I'm an Orange Jesus, but I want you all to think about what I gave you today. Let's break down the stat that matters:

When AClockworkOrange watched: VT: 28 SU: 3
When AClockworkOrange didn't watch: SU 35 VT 3

I just watched the condensed version of the game, and they still won. So, I got that going for me, which is nice.
