Surgery was on 5/12/25. Update: Zaire Franklin, a linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts, underwent an ankle cleanup procedure in May 2025. The procedure took place recently enough that he was still in a walking boot, but he was expected to be recovered in time for training camp.

according to NBC Sports. Franklin, a key player and Pro Bowler,
led the league in tackles last season, according to NBC Sports. Tackles 173, Solo 93, Ast 80, Sack 3.5, FF 5. On March 13, 2025, signed a 3-year extension for 30.3M. Franklin is currently 29 years old the extension will keep him with the Colts through 2027.
