"Mattydale, N.Y. — After decades of serving up juicy burgers with its nostalgic, build-your-own toppings bar, Zebb’s Deluxe Grill & Bar in Mattydale is days away from flipping its last patty .
Chris Damick, who bought the last remaining Zebb’s in the old Kmart Plaza two years ago, told his employees Friday night that the restaurant would close for good next Sunday, Oct. 13."

Sad that location ended up killing it. When that strip mall was big, Zebb’s really did well. Feel for the guy who bought it 2 years ago - sad, it was dying 10 years ago. Sad.

i'd agree when the X-MAS Tree shop closed the whole mall rather imploded. i do remember running into JB at the toppings bar one night. i wasn't counting but i like to believe he limited himself to 6.5 fixings.

Their Zebboriginal wings were my favorite in high school. This is a sad day.

Good burgers and in my pre keto days they made milkshakes the old fashioned way with the big metal mixing cup.

Hopefully a stronger local economy and the new Northern Lights owner will help turn the two pieces of this strip mall around.

Raymond and Flanigan, work some magic! There is no big hardware store close to this mall.

A nice gastro pub might work.

This would be a good place for Lampkin’s new restaurant. I bet you can get it on the cheap right now.
