Class of 2019 Ken Evans Jr.

We need another guard and another rim protector way more than a stretch 4.

If we can't get any offense out of the big men unless they are at the rim, that doesn't leave much room for all our attacking guards. The big men will still be waiting for them at the rim, just like they were for Judah. You need a big who can make the other team's rim protector leave the rim.

I know people will point to his rough defensive metrics, but playing with weaker players probably doesn’t help him much there.

Those numbers tend to travel. If you look at a lot of low major guys who were highlighted portal guys this year, the ones who were good according to metrics were also pretty good at their old school.

Donnie has a solid and improving outside shot. He’s comfortable away from the rim. Jyare can play out there and make shots as well. This is a weird thing to be hung up on given the other needs on the roster.

Plus Donnie is by no means a banger. Hangs around outside the paint on offense. Agree with rim protector. Not sold on Donnie’s shot blocking ability. Lampkin can’t block shots and N-Mac too slow.

How did we manage to score when we had both AO and Rick in the lineup together? Just playing devils advocate.

They started both half's but only played together about 12 minutes a game. The rest of the game was one of them on the bench and one of them playing center. Rick was a very good high low passer and both guys had legit post games. There are lots of ways to make it work but shooting, at all positions has become more and more important over the last 10 years.

You do realize that DF was where the coaches put him on offense, right? His per 40 minutes rebounds are near 10.

They didn't play much together. Rautins was the 6th man, but averaged more minutes than both of them. He played a lot that year on the back line.
Rautins was a starter. Jardine was the 6th man.

I was speaking to 08-09, not 09-10. I guess the same thing can be said for that season.
