Chris McCullough dismissed from Brewster

if we get everyone back who is supposed to be here, we real don't need him

I bet Matt Damon framed him for cheating after he took his starting spot, and also because he doesn't like McCullough because he's Jewish.

That's what happens at New England prep schools in most cases, from what I understand.

I heard he inadvertently had, uh, relations with his roommate's mother (the lovely Jacqueline Bisset).

I'm anxiously looking forward to Francis' thoughts on this matter and where McCullough may literally and figuratively go from here. What about Buss' prep school? Maybe that's a possible destination?

Um...didn't Patterson attend Brewster?

I don't think so.
Yeah, I just looked on the official National LOI website and couldn't find anything about that in the FAQs. Hopefully he'll be all set to sign on Wednesday, because that's my birthday, and I want a 5 star power forward to sign with Syracuse on my birthday, damnit.

He can sign the LOI but that doesn't mean he'll be eligible to enroll at SU next fall. He has to transfer to another school and complete the necessary credits to graduate. If he starts in January it's possible he could still get the needed credits by going to summer school. Let's hope so.

the problem is not that he got kicked off the basketball team. It's that he will now be a whole semester of credits short of the NCAA clearinghouse's requirements. That is, unless he takes summer courses, which would leave us waiting for NCAA approval next fall ala Tyler Roberson.
Aren't most HS courses for the entire academic year ... and not for a semester? If that is the case, he will just have to get up the speed at whatever school he attends.

Additionally, as long as he has been up to date through this year most high school seniors only have a few necessary courses to take their last year. As some have already posted if he was seriously considering reclassifying to be on campus this year I doubt he has more than 1-2 required courses to finish up.

Public school, yes. I have friends who have had the college-type semesters in prep school.

As a man you have to take responsibility for your actions I am accountable for mine. Minor set back I'll be good!

I am encouraged by his comment here. It seems like when bad things and a high school/college/pro athlete takes to twitter, it rarely helps the situation. So this is at least a good first step that he is taking responsibility.

On a side note, doesn't Chris understand that this kind of news is NOT a good way to rack up the tees on the board here?

It seems like those guys have been there forever. And is Jerome linehan still at P.C.?
It's okay, none of them have been in school nearly as long as Kevin Braswell, still.
