Don't know for sure, but not everyone wants to pay the $200 to tryout, especially if you are committed. It's a crime the amount of money Corrigan Sports makes on these tryouts (north of $600k). Plus, most people feel they are rigged for a few club teams whose coaches head up the selection group. See @laxvigilante on Twitter for more on this subject.
