Note: All-ACC Team points are determined on a 5-3-1 system (five points for first team, three points for second team, one point for third team).
as determined by a 75-member panel consisting of the league's 15 head coaches and 60 media members.
looks like every team got at least 1 player on teams 1-3 or at least honorable mention.
UNC ,DUKE and CLEMSON 3
PITT ,UVA 2
everybody else 1.

Did he think he was first team?
I wouldn't want a player on my team who didn't think they deserved first team. They should all be playing with "best player in the league" swagger.

Side note, Reece Beekman second team is a joke, dude is DPY and averaged 14 a game and loses out to sir shoots-a-lot hinson?

Salute to Judah and Maliq.

Tony Bennett gets a COY vote despite having his offense fail to score 50 points in three consecutive games and four out five toward the end of the season. What a joke.

"Hey Peter Carey, did you deserve ACC first team this year?"
"Um, I mean, probably not. But I appreciate you asking."
"YOU GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE, PETER!"
If he doesn't have the confidence that he could go out and perform at an all-ACC level then he is wasting space on the bench. Amazing that people want soft players who are okay with not being great.

you realize we had no first team all ACC players? so you want nobody on your team ? or just some delusional grandeur types ?

I think it's important to have a healthy blend of guys who know and accept their roles and responsibilities.

In 2003 for instance, it was clear that Melo was the generational talent, GMac and Warrick were a notch below and semi-stars, Duany was the senior experienced leader, and everyone else filled a niche as a role player. If we had Josh Pace coming in with a major attitude thinking he was an All-Big East player and deserved 20 shots per game, that could unravel the team's chemistry.

seems like every thread I'm in, you're choosing a different strange hill to die on
Its only strange to those who are okay with mediocrity.

What I find more perplexing however, is that over the last 6 months you've gone from actually adding substance to conversations to seemingly just trying to put down other users. Im not even talking about myself, its multiple well meaning posters and you seemingly always want to pile on. Before you go attacking me, perhaps you should look in the mirror.
