Awful opinions you've had (kinda OT)

Here's my all-time favorite:

I just KNEW that the '09-10 team was going to suck after losing Flynn, Devo, and Harris. I was so sure we'd get enough hype to hit #1 with them, but nope, without them, we'd be lucky to be a Top-25 team, let alone #1. The exhibition loss to LeMoyne only proved I was right. I even remember talking to my dad after that game about just how bad and unexciting this team was going to be.

I thought Todd Burgan was going to be the next Michael Jordan.

I thought Ramel "Rock" Lloyd would literally pulverize opposing guards into a pile of blood and guts on the way to 2 consecutive SU titles.

I thought MCW would play more in the D-league than NBA last year.

I thought Wes Johnson would be a solid fourth best player on a good NBA team.

I thought Doug Marrone was going to be a lifer here.

I thought the Mets should have kept Ike Davis, not Lucas Duda.

After watching the Canada games last year, I thought I saw a point guard who was going to be a four year favorite that was our next Gerry McNamara in terms of being awesome in college but not fast enough to go pro (at least as an early entry).

I called TRob 'Melo lite' based on the game all 4 recruits played in across the street from Lemoyne College before the basketball season started. Saw him hit about 4 0f 6 3s in warmups.

I remember leaving the Dome in Nov. 2003 after our first exhibition and thinking that Roberts was the next Derrick Coleman. He looked just like him, could run the floor, hit a couple medium range J's - I was so excited.

I am guilty on the lucas duda/ike debate.

Jimmer fredette was gonna be a star in the nba.

After the GTown game in 2013 at the Verizon center I said no way Syracuse makes it past the first weekend in the NCAAs.

Keita would transfer before he even got here because I thought he'd never see the court
