We only spent the better part of Thursday there (traveling from London to Dolton for a party for my niece, who has gained her UK citizenship). What a great city. Very cool. Easy walking. Easily could have spent 3-4 days just going around to the different shops and markets.
Stayed at Hotel No. 15 (weird name, I know )on a whim because I could use my Amex points there.
Great hotel. They have record players in the room, and a whole collection of albums for guests to listen to. There was a cool little radio playing the local classical station. They have afternoon tea for the guests. It was posh, without being ostentatious or snooty.
London is great because of the known, historical sites, but it is so freaking crowded. Bath was busy, but not too crowded.
