Class of 2014 'Cuse Commit #s seem low against the A teams

okay, just wondering why 'Cuse continually obtains commits later than other A schools. For example, ESPN recruiting now has 'Cuse at #9 and that is with Chris. Here are the teams in front of 'Cuse and the # of commits:
UNC---------------------3
Ohio State......4
Louisville........3
Maryland.......3
Florida....2
GTown...3

Any ideas why we always seem slow to get?

I think that years when there are lots of open spots, people commit earlier. Or if you are a McDonald's level player, you pretty much pick where you want to go, and you don't care about the existing players on the roster. We have that McD's player locked in (Chris McC.), and the other guys are at the level - 4 star type players, where they have to take a close look at who's going to be on the roster when they get there.

We got Ennis fairly early last year, as I recall, because people had a pretty good sense that MCW would be leaving. It all depends on how stacked your roster is and where players see the quickest route to the getting on the floor.
