Back when more than 3-4 of the same teams were relevant every year. In 1991 Ohio State was never in the top 10 and for quite a while after that they were not the factory they have been for a while now. When is the last time they went a season never seeing the top 10? The widened gap between the haves and have nots the last decade or so has made college football less fun.
