Facebook support question

So last night I went to check Facebook on my phone, which I was in Facebook throughout the day with no issues, and when I went to go into the app, it asked me for a passcode.
Now it’s never done that before and I’ve never heard of that so I’m wondering if anyone else has faced this issue, if it’s legitimate or something else?

Odd.
Never had it happen and haven’t heard about it from anyone. I just double clicked the photo and it went to my password. And I was able to log in that way.
Kinda got me a little paranoid after I just watch a YouTube video on scammers. Lol.
