Fran Era Officially Begins

We have only won as many as 8 regular season games one time in the last 22 years so I will take 8-4 next year. Yes I know the schedule is soft on paper but plenty of places we can trip up. Incredibly excited for the season

This is probably the most realistic and reasonable expectation.

Twenty years we have won six or more games, just seven times.

6 games x2 (Paul, Dino)
7 games x2 (Doug, Scott)
8 games x2 (Doug, Doug)
10 games x1 (Dino)

5 games x3 (Doug, Dino, Dino)
4 games x5 (Greg, Doug, Scott, Dino)
3 games x2 (Greg, Scott)
2 games x1 (Greg, Dino)
1 game x2 (Greg)

That's a whole lot of trash.

And Marrone was responsible for the two 8's and basically one 7. He got the most out of his talent through pure coaching.

Fran has recruited far above any of our last four coaches and frankly far above Paul's end.

His first month brought us comparable ranked talent to Paul.

If he and his staff are remotely competent, which I have zero reason not to believe they won't be, then 8 wins should be a reasonable expectation based off projected talent alone.
