It seems odd to me that the comments (or shrieks) from the Pitt fans are so audible on the ESPN broadcasts from the Pete. Surely it can't be the only venue where the crowd sits closely to the broadcast team. You can hear stuff from the fans all game long, word for word. Like the "are you gonna cry" bit after Tyler went down. (As an aside, I literally almost had a heart attack thinking that he had broken his arm.) And their unbelievably tepid "Here we go Pittsburgh, here we go" chants circa 1963. With that said, having listened to their nonsense all game, it made even happier (if that's possible) when we beat them. Kind of gave me a little insight into the whole Marcus Smart situation and also makes me think that ESPN would have some trouble on their hands if the comments were consistently vulgar.
