In May, CBS Sports ranked Dino as the 45th best coach going into this season? Has he improved so far

I really don't know. Offense is imposing most of the time and defense seems to be improving. He definitely out coached Virg Tech but I thought we lost ground in games earlier this season that we were competitive in early in games. He's definitely a keeper

Don't know if he's a better coach since May, but the team has improved on both offense and defense. That's all that matters.

Coach Dino Babers was underrated in May and is underrated now. The team is catching on and will only get better. HCDB is working with younger kids and in a new system, system #3 for the upper classmen. He will be closer to a top 25 next May/preseason.

hard to tell how much the team regressed in games 1-4, UL we lost several starters on a team with no depth, he also repeated that teams adjusted and in new systems we have little we could adjust.. Since the ND game we have moved the ball in the 2nd half, points continue to be the issue but not moving the ball.. the fact other teams have not gone crazy against the D would point at things getting better or perhaps playing less talented teams.
