Looking at the Schedule

The schedule is paper-soft.

I was surprised to see the oddsmakers project 6.5 wins.

I wasn't. Better personnel? Absolutely. Easier schedule? You bet your sweet a$$.

But new systems have to be learned, and there are a couple spots where an injury could decimate us. I also think (as Go started this thread with), the OL needs some more reinforcement.

If it were my money, I'd bet the over, and pray for health.

Need to capitalize.
I will see if I can place a bet on it when I hit the casinos for the opening weekend of March Madness.

I want to see what the full roster looks like at the end of July here and get a few practices in first before prognosticating. From the sounds of it there will be more coming and going. I know, it's not flashy but I think change is still happening and I need to see the dust settle. There are definitely things I am looking forward to though, I am glass half full and think good things are ahead of us.

Get all the bags and buy a starting guard and starting tackle.

10-2 (or better) is there for the taking.
I will bet money on the under.

Relationships to recruit and build culture are one thing. Winning on game day and making adjustments is so unproven. Factor in two west coast trips which have not bode well for us.

I’d love it, but I would not bet on it.

The Orange just went to a bowl game playing TEs at QB. They will the over.

Don’t think they get to 10, but 8 is my goal and 6 is the floor.

I see 8-4 with a real what just happened loss and an ohhh heck yeah win.

@unlv for the loss if we want to get technical.

We lost the oline and the corners and the QBs and got to 6 with solid chances at 8 last yr.

No reason to not hope for 8+ this yr with the schedule if we can keep people on the field

UNLV has serious questions at QB. We should win.

We have been battered and beaten. It’s hard to actually accept the fact that we could very well win 10. But I really do see a path. It’s just hard to accept that as an expectation as a cuse fan. I’ll be pleased at 8-4 and anything above that is gravy. And there’s gravy on the table, but will our arms reach it?

Maimi game ends up being weird bc both schools are locked in to play in the ACCT.

It will just be like a baseball day/night doubleheader.

You get a little break in between.

serious question.. can A new yorker go to PA. And place a bet on ‘Cuse or is it still restricted and a bet wont be placed? Im fully aware that one would have to go back to PA. To collect winnings..

You can place bet at any PA casino, to bet with online app once across state line you have to open account in PA

Oh, I readily admit that we have some key holes that still need to be filled, and that Brown and staff need to show that they have the chops on gameday.

But I stand by my original point -- the schedule is favorable as hell. We've loaded up on transfers [and still have some work to do], and need to capitalize on the weak slate.
