Good for him. Posting from my phone, so someone else can post the actual teams if they want.
He deserved first team.
Who's he supposed to replace? #1 or #2 in MVP voting?
I dont care if they kick lebron off the first team, Melo deserved it. As Syracuse fans, we need to support his case.
has the nba scoring leader ever not be 1st team nba? serious question
Duncan didn't deserve first...and they have taken the center position away from everything else...

Except everyone considers Duncan The greatest power forward ever.Because Lebron and Durant were the forwards, and they do it by position.
If 3 forwards could make it, then Melo would deserve it over Duncan.

I've always argued that 1948 scoring champion Max Zaslofsky of the Chicago Stags should have been on the second team, not the first.
I was surprised to see Howard, even on the third team, after the year he had.Based on Marc Gasol and Dwight Howard also making it, I'm guessing they still have centers for this.
And they still do centers for all-defense too.
Dude, that was impressive.Seems exactly where he should have been. Kinda tough to pass KD and Lebron.
Without looking it up; I bet it has happened 5-10 times.
Skimming the list, T-Mac didn't make it in 2004, Iverson didn't make it in 2002, Shaq didn't it in 95, Robinson missed out in 94 (but made it over in Shaq in 95), Adrian Dantley didn't make it in 84, Alex English didn't make it in 83, Dantley missed again in 81, and I'm done
