would like to see again where we are since adding Ville, etc, and since the inception of the BE... thanks

Here are the total standings currently. But, with one week left, every school except Syracuse and Seton Hall has 2 games remaining.

Louisville has USF at home and then is at Syracuse.

Pitt has St. John's at home and is at UConn.

Obviously, we need USF to knock off Louisville and UConn to beat Pitt. Then, with a win on Senior Day, the Orange tie Louisville for the lead.

I think the most likely finish to this year, though, will be Louisville with 82, Syracuse with 81 and Pitt with 80.

Nobody else can even get to 79 this year. Either Marquette or Georgetown could get to 78, but they play each other at Marquette, so that will knock one of them off the pace. The Hoyas also have ND at home; ND's other game is Providence at home. It is conceivable that all three could finish with 77 wins.

Is this just reg season or do you count BET games as well?

The cutoff below Yukon is just sick.

RU 2-4
SH 2-5
Depaul 1-4
PC 1-5

BET Titles

Seeds to win a BET

9 seed twice

7 seed once

BET Titles
1- Pitt, UConn, Louisville, SU, GTown, WV

for those who are counting - UConn and Nova split a regular season title, which is why it adds up to 8 instead of 7

Combined titles:
3: SU and GTown
2: Pitt, UConn, Louisville
1: Nova, WVU

won both in the same season since expansion: Georgetown 2007, Louisville 2009
Georgetown hit the Triple Crown by adding a Final Four in 2007; Louisville fell in the Elite 8

Triple Crown: Regular season title, conference tournament championship, Final Four
Grand Slam: Triple Crown plus national championship

Georgetown '84 & UConn '99 are the only Grand Slam winners from the Big East

Ah yes, wasn't long ago people were complaining that SU was so very middling in the Big East since the additions of the 'Ville et al

first three years post expansion, SU was 9th and just barely above .500 (26-24), which makes our current ranking even more impressive, IMO.

there is a mistake in this chart

USF has 34 35 wins, not 44

just wanted to point out that USF's win last night was a huge boost for Syracuse. With a win on Sunday, the Orange can now tie Louisville for most wins.

We were complaining about it cuz it was true. Since the midpoint of the 2008-2009 big east season we've been on 1 helluva run.
