Nate Solomon

He looked great today, really in control and wasn't tying to do too much like I had thought he was against Albany and at times against Army. But he looked great today, hopefully that trend continues.

Such a heady play by Solomon. We had a flag down & free possession...perfect time to get a little creative, use the defender as a screen, & catch the goalie off guard.

He's been playing very well over these last few. Still taking some poor shots but without his 7 goals over the last 3 games, we are in big trouble. Like the way he has been playing lately.

With Evans struggling to score in 6 on 6 situations its imperative Solomon be a scoring presence for SU. That means he has to be aggressive and take some questionable shots . It helps to keep defenses honest and allow some breathing room for mariano and Salcido

Agree. He is quietly putting together a really nice campaign 14 goals already on the season.

I have been a big nate fan since last season. Kid has the it factor, just needs more game to game consistency.

Just looking over some stats late and night and noticed that Soloman by far leads the team in penalty minutes. He really has to get his temper under control, as most of his penalties have come on some type of extracurricular activity. He has 4 penalties for 5:00mins this season. Next highest is Fusco with 3:00 minutes served. Solomon can't afford to do something like that in a big playoff game.

Totally agree with this and I suspect our opponents are likewise aware and are purposefully trying to bait him into taking a stupid penalty. You have to play with spirit but you also have to stay in control and not let your emotions get the better of you.
