New DB Coach: Joe Schaefer [Official]

Don’t know much about him but I do like that he has defensive coordinator experience. I think that will be beneficial when working alongside DC Robinson in his first year as a stand-alone DC. Good to have some experienced guys on staff. Him being a recruiting coordinator in the past is also intriguing.

Yes just waiting to be made official. A lot of people were thanking him and wishing him well on Instagram recently.

Was Director of Scouting at Iowa State a while back in addition to his DB experience. Also grew up in Ohio, played and coached multiple levels in Ohio including winning a HS state title as a coach at Benedictine in Cleveland. Ohio recruiting specialist I would assume.

I still remember my offensive coordinator looking at me in the fourth (the game was practically over) to flag me in and I was like "Nope".
