Robinson will Co DC with WrightDon’t know much about him but I do like that he has defensive coordinator experience. I think that will be beneficial when working alongside DC Robinson in his first year as a stand-alone DC. Good to have some experienced guys on staff. Him being a recruiting coordinator in the past is also intriguing.
Sean edinger killed his interview he is staying unfortunately. I kid I kid lolSo is Jordan Barber going to be our strength coach? Been waiting on that one to be made official.
Nice to have three coaches on defensive staff with DC experience now.Robinson will Co DC with Wright
Yes just waiting to be made official. A lot of people were thanking him and wishing him well on Instagram recently. So is Jordan Barber going to be our strength coach? Been waiting on that one to be made official.
Was Director of Scouting at Iowa State a while back in addition to his DB experience. Also grew up in Ohio, played and coached multiple levels in Ohio including winning a HS state title as a coach at Benedictine in Cleveland. Ohio recruiting specialist I would assume.
You might wanna look at some of those coach Mac assistants. This is the strongest staff we have ever had, and , yes, I know some of you will take exception to that statement. Joe Schaefer, like a lot of the staff, has future head coach written on his forehead.
In 1988 my high school made the playoffs for the first time in school history (I was a scrub WR on the team). AP had us ranked No.1 in the state in our class. We torched the first team we played in the playoffs, then met Benedictine up in Toledo. It was a frigid night. The field was literally frosting over. Didn't matter to Benedictine. They were on another level and kicked our a$$. Faster, bigger, stronger than any team we had played that year. Hit like tanks. I still remember my offensive coordinator looking at me in the fourth (the game was practically over) to flag me in and I was like "Nope".
Don’t get crazy. This is the strongest staff we have ever had, and , yes, I know some of you will take exception to that statement. Joe Schaefer, like a lot of the staff, has future head coach written on his forehead.
We've lived through 2 great runs, Ben, Mac@P, why not a third? Steve and I are with you, I'll turn 78, why not a return to the top again? We will see what the future holds, hopefully. (Being 74 years old, who knows)
...when you're having more than one!!We do like our Shafers/Schaefers
